For many, Telašćica Bay is unquestionably the most beautiful Adriatic bay. The nature park is named after her and includes an area of 13 islands. You will enjoy the ride overlooking the salt lake Mir, which is 900 meters long, about 300 meters wide, and its greatest depth is 8 meters. It is best known for its healing properties.
You will have the opportunity to visit the lookout point from where the view extends from Cape Mrzlovica to Veli vrh. The rocks known as the long-island “rocks” are rich in fauna and flora, and dolphins can be observed from the rocks. The rocks are a well-known habitat of the Dubrovnik hare, gray falcon, eleonora falcon, woody milkweed, endemic species of snails. The seabed is rich in red corals, photophilous algae, sea urchins, crabs and fish. There are also semi-caves inhabited by corals, sponges and fireflies. Thanks to some protected species, the nature park is part of ornithologically important areas.
